About Me

I'm a graduate student at the Craig Newmark School of Journalism based in New York.

I am currently a reporter at The Associated Press covering race and ethnicity, as well as a data reporter at CalMatters. You can find my writing in The City Reporter, Forbes, and NYCity News Service, where I've covered housing, social services, education, and economics in New York City.

I graduated from Boston University in 2022 with a B.S. in Journalism and minor in Political Science. While at BU, I was the community editor of The Daily Free Press and wrote for various music outlets, including HotNewHipHop, as well as started a music column for the school.

Post-grad I was the editor-in-chief of formerly prominent music site KpopStarz, and occasionally, I still do music journalism, including on a freelance basis for Billboard magazine.

I was born in the Lower East Side and grew up in the heart of Flushing, Queens. I am a student and product of the most diverse borough in the country.
